Programme

As a graduate, you’ll be equipped with a unique set of skills required for emerging roles with the financial sector.

Period 1 (September to December)

You’ll gain a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of finance and data analysis and develop relevant skills in problem solving and innovation. Courses include:

Period 2 (January to May)

Now it’s time to dig deeper into your field. You will cover courses in: 

  • Asset & Liability Management
  • Introduction to Big Data and Finance
  • Management of Market and Credit Risk
  • Derivatives
  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • Quantitative Topics in Finance, Risk and Control
  • Data Mining & Analytics
  • Blockchain & Crypto Currencies
  • Corporate Social Responsibility

Period 3 (June to January)

The final part of your studies requires the completion of a dissertation (or ‘thesis’). This academic project allows you to explore a current topic in depth. To help you get started, you will cover the following courses:

  • Research Skills
  • Thesis Methodology
  • Thesis Preparation and Defence

This dissertation is both academic and practical, allowing you to showcase what you have learned in the classroom and during your internship.
